Hey, I’m Francis Santiago—a photographer based in Los Angeles.

I focus on concert and street photography, drawn to unscripted moments and emotional atmosphere. I like working with minimal gear and natural lighting, letting the energy of the scene dictate how I shoot. I’m influenced by the rawness of Daido Moriyama and the surreal storytelling of filmmakers like David Lynch. Lately, I’ve started experimenting more—with shutter speeds, color grading, and the kind of angles that feel slightly off in the right way.

Photography gives me a sense of creative freedom and emotional grounding. I’m trying to master the technical side of my camera so I can move instinctively, whether I’m at a packed show or quietly watching a scene unfold in the street. Eventually, I’d like to explore landscape work—maybe combining it with my love for rock climbing.
